To install Simple Bill Manager:

1.       Insert the Simple Bill Manager CD into your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive and close the door.

2.       If the AutoPlay feature is enabled in your operating system, a window will display;  if it does not, follow these steps:

    • Open Windows Explorer.
    • Navigate to the CD-ROM drive.
    • Right-click on the drive letter representing your CD-ROM drive and select OPEN.
    • Look for the file named SetupSimpleBillManager.exe and double-click the file to run it.

3.       Upon running the SetupSimpleBillManager.exe file, follow the installation instructions.

If the application fails to launch after double clicking, it could be due to one of the following issues (or both):

  1. Simple Bill Manager requires Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.5.0+ or Java Development Kit (JDK) 5+ in order to run properly. To install the most current version of Java, please visit http://www.java.com
    • Click on “Free Java Download” on the website listed above.
    • Click on “Agree and Start Free Download.”
    • Save the prompted file to your computer and run the file, users of Windows Vista or higher might have to use the “Run as Administrator” option (See below).
    • Click “install” when prompted and follow any additional prompts from the installer.
  2. If your program still fails to launch and your operating system is Windows Vista or higher, we recommend that you run both the installation and program as Administrator.  To use this option, right click on the file name or program shortcut and select the option “Run as Administrator.”

 Finally you generated bill Reports can be found in one of the following directories depending on operating system:

C:\Program Files\Concise Applications\Simple Bill Manager\Reports  OR

C:\ Program Files (x86)\Concise Applications\Simple Bill Manager\Reports

You can reach these directories by clicking or selecting from start menu “My Computer” then click “C:” drive or the drive you have windows installed to, then follow the above directory structure.
